Aloha. Welcome to Jonnysurfer.
We take executive teams surfing.

Fifty years ago, Dr. Dorian "Doc" Paskowitz, M.D. opened the world's first surf camp in Southern California. We continue the legacy by providing facilitated multi-day surfing offsites to increase teams’ collective leadership effectiveness.

Collective Leadership Effectiveness (CLE)* is a measure of a team’s ability to work together to achieve desired results in service their company’s purpose. Decision making, systems awareness, authenticity, ability to relate, and self reflection are all CLE skills required to positively lead your organization.

  • We offer 4-6 day all inclusive offsites in exclusive locations that combine executive coaching, group facilitation, and surf instruction.

  • Our programs are designed to strengthen Collective Leadership Effectiveness (CLE) of senior executive teams of late stage startups, investment firms, and family offices.

  • We utilize robust leadership and personality assessments prior to arrival, provide expert group facilitation and executive coaching during the offsite, and support integration back in the office.

  • We provide world class surf instruction where team members experience the true stoke of surfing and deep hospitality.

Praise

The best part about Jon Paskowitz is he’s the real deal. A great surfer. He’s got the pedigree. He uses the word ‘Aloha’ and it doesn’t sound all touristy. He gets tanner than anyone I know. And he’s one of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet.

Most importantly, he’s passionate about surfing, is a fantastic teacher, and wants everyone to have a blast. There’s a lot to learn from Jonathan, both in surfing and in life.

I was astonished that after a handful of sessions, I had the tools and mindset to effectively open a new conversation with my team and make tangible changes to the way we operate. The result? Increased satisfaction, motivation, team cohesion, accountability, and quality results. Thanks to my work with Geo, I am growing significantly as a team leader, more than I have in years!
